Some people say the once the BER month approaches, you can guarantee that it will be the most busiest season of the year. With the Fall season soon to be over, the Thanksgiving is weeks away, a lot of you most probably are planning for a party and decorating the house. As soon as the Thanksgiving is over, you get to prepare for the Christmas and then the New Year festival! It sounds crazy but it’s true. Now, before you stress yourself with all the preparations, decorations, and other stuff, here’s a few pointers that might help and save you from all the stress.
Thanksgiving Day
This is the day where we give thanks to the bountiful harvest, the blessings that we received throughout the year. Following the traditions, a turkey and a lot of pies are in order. To save you from exhausting yourself, prepare 2 weeks ahead. Make a list of all the food that you will be preparing, and if you have some guests coming over. Make sure the rooms are clean and ready in case your guests will be spending the night at your place. Get some help if needed. Have the kids prepare some food or teach them how to make one. Not only they are learning but you’re bonding with your kids and distributing the work efficiently. Make a checklist and assign a daily task for the day. This would help you focus on what you need to do.
Christmas
While Christmas is still a month away, it would be best if you are buying presents as early as today. Not only it will save you money, time, and hassle, you would still have some time for yourself. You can also avoid the Christmas rush by buying stuffs online but make sure the delivery date is enough to get you prepared or make some last minute changes. If you are on a tight budget, you can make some crafts or recycle some things in your stuff. As always, make sure you have a checklist of what to do to keep you on track.
